Using Xperia devices and new technology, #ChampionsSofa captured supporters reacting live from living rooms across Europe and pushed the content to social within minutes. Fans could now watch others reacting to the same match at the same time in what became a world-first shared viewing experience.
The campaign delivered over 27.8m views. In the UK, Freddie Flintoff joined fans at home during the knockout stages, helping drive a 90% uplift in engagement.
